Storage and Spring Cleaning go hand in hand You cannot effectively spring clean a home filled with stuff. It can be frustrating to trip and stumble over things while you go about cleaning your house. This helps you create more space, and you are able to thoroughly clean all areas of your home with minimal obstructions. With self-storage, you can keep your properties safe and know they are always readily available whenever you need them. Spring Cleaning Tips Here are a couple of tips on how to spring clean your home with ease. These tips will help you achieve your goal of having a fresh and airy home. They include: #1- Make a plan to stay on track The first thing to do is to plan. Set your goals by stating what you wish to achieve. During this time of self-quarantining we will be all be spending much more time together at home. This time could be put to valuable use to check off the items on our to do list that we’ve been putting aside. With spring in the air it’s a great time to start Spring Cleaning! While we are de-cluttering areas we may want to put aside those items that we don’t use on a daily basis that we can store instead and free up valuable living space. Climate controlled self storage is a great place to store some of these items. Your Christmas decorations, clothing, toys your kids have outgrown and other seasonal items such as lawn furniture. With climate controlled storage your items will be in a temperature controlled environment so the items don’t get too hot or cold as well as humidity controlled. This storage space is less expensive per square foot than your living space so it is actually very smart financially to store these items there instead of tying up space at home that could otherwise be used for much more enjoyable and prudent applications. A game room, playroom, bedroom, a new or enlarged bathroom, a reading den or study room, etc. Share your ideas of those things you might store in a climate controlled facility and how you repurposed some of your living space that was previously used for storage. ...

Climate Controlled Self Storage We all have valuables that we don’t want to part with. However, these items cause clutter and take up space in our houses that could and should be used in a better way. The cost per square foot is much more expensive in our house than in a storage unit. This is why so many people are now storing the items they don’t use on a daily basis in a storage facility. It is now considered an ‘Extension of your living space’ and as such, it is considered a part of your normal living expenses. You will want to store your items in a Climate Controlled environment to avoid mold and pests that may adversely affect your items. You will also want to store them in a safe facility that has security cameras and a system that tracks who is coming and going to the storage facility. Fall is a perfect time to start de-cluttering your house for the Holidays! The Storage Center is a state-of-the-art ‘Class A’ all climate-controlled facility that is brand new to Sioux Falls.
